Indonesian Attorney General's Office searches National Nutrition Agency office

The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) confirmed on Wednesday, June 3, that it is conducting a search at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office in Central Jakarta. The operation is being led by investigators from the Directorate of Special Crimes.

Mohammad Jeffry, the acting head of Kejagung's Legal Information Center, confirmed the search via a brief message. However, he declined to provide further details about the case under investigation, stating that a press conference would be held later to announce the findings.

Observations at the BGN office showed employees waiting outside the building during work hours. Those who arrived were reportedly asked to wait outside and were not permitted to enter the premises due to the ongoing investigation involving Kejagung.

A security officer mentioned that the Kejagung team had been present at the location since approximately 2:00 AM local time. By 9:00 AM, employees were still arriving but could not enter the building. Media personnel attempting to cover the event were also denied access to the main gate.
