She noted the teams' constant use of data and technology. Cyclists analyze each stage's profile, expected speeds, and individual roles to optimize aerodynamics and bike weight. Witnessing the peloton's speed from close proximity, reaching nearly 50 kilometers per hour on Montmartre, offered a new dimension to her understanding.
