Information Minister honours students and media staff in Sur

Dr. Abdullah Nassir Al Harrasi, Oman's Minister of Information, recently honored students from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur and employees from the Communication and Media Department in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. This recognition celebrated their valuable contributions to media initiatives and their support for media work within the region.

The students were specifically acknowledged for their participation in a media forum titled 'South Al Sharqiyah… Sustainable Impact.' During his visit to the governorate, Minister Al Harrasi reviewed key media achievements and programs implemented by the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. These initiatives aim to strengthen communication efforts and enhance the effectiveness of the region's media message.

Furthermore, the minister held a meeting with Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Maawali, the Governor of South Al Sharqiyah. Their discussions focused on ongoing media efforts in the governorate and explored strategies for further developing the media sector. Both officials emphasized reinforcing the media's role in supporting local development objectives.
