Innoblock launches AI smart factory for intelligent paving block manufacturing

Innoblock is spearheading a digital transformation in the paving block industry by establishing an AI-powered smart factory. This initiative moves beyond simple automation, integrating artificial intelligence and data analytics to manage the entire production lifecycle. The new system provides integrated control from raw material analysis to production process management and quality assessment. A key feature is the use of AI vision algorithms to analyze the particle size, shape, and grading of raw materials in real-time. This allows for the proactive prevention of strength degradation and cracks, common defects in paving blocks.

Furthermore, Innoblock has adopted edge computing-based AI vision cameras and deep learning technology. This enables the precise, quantitative inspection of color variations and surface defects, which were previously subject to the operator's subjective judgment. The company has also implemented a quality tracking system capable of tracing production history for each batch (BATCH), ensuring real-time traceability of detailed information including raw material lots, mixing, production, and shipment.
