InnOngsa World Tour Heads to Taiwan in November After Bangkok Finale Sells Out

Thai BL's latest popular pairing is coming to Taiwan. Inn Jakkrasin Atsavatanachai and Ongsa Tthuchh Khummuang, whose popularity surged through Waiting for Dawn Breaks, have officially announced a world tour. GagaOOLala will host the Taiwan stop on Nov. 29, putting fans who followed the series on early alert for tickets.

The series quickly climbed GagaOOLala's Thai drama rankings after its release and earned an 8.7 rating on an international drama review site. Inn and Ongsa, appearing together for the first time, won viewers over with a painful romance that crosses class, time and fate. The audience followed the story from attraction to heartbreak, while the pair's popularity grew with every turn of the plot.

The world tour will visit seven cities: Bangkok, Shanghai, Milan, Taipei, Macau, Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul. The special screening of the finale in Bangkok on Aug. 29 sold out soon after tickets went on sale.

Inn and Ongsa sat among the audience and watched the ending with fans. As the story reached its climax, both actors were moved to tears several times. After the screening, they changed back into period costumes from the drama, appeared in white suits, held hands and sang onstage. The emotional gathering turned into a celebratory fan event, with the full cast and production team also present.

Inn prepared to play an officer by attending acting workshops, studying modern Thai history and consulting military personnel about salutes and posture. Ongsa said the prince in the drama differs greatly from his real personality, making the role a new challenge. He also sang the theme song, Saeng Raek, or First Light, carrying the drama's feelings beyond the screen.
