Inside Mario Pergolini’s Home: A Retro Basement, Nerdy Space and Exclusive Library

Mario Pergolini’s home is less a conventional celebrity residence than a showcase for his interests: technology, collectibles and retro design. The Argentine radio and television presenter has revealed parts of it through interviews, videos, reels and social media posts, even as his family keeps the property largely private.

The kitchen is dominated by light colors, especially white. Wooden tones appear in the television cabinet and table, which is paired with beige chairs. A large window brings in natural light and looks onto the garden, while a glass door strengthens the connection with the outdoors. Ingredients, spices and other food are stored in labeled glass jars, and a gray granite island matches the countertop and houses the stove.

The most distinctive room is the retro-style basement. It has become one of the main settings for Pergolini’s videos and streaming programs. Its walls and shelves hold hanging guitars, records, books, collectible figures and a basketball. Among the striking objects are a life-size Stormtrooper from “Star Wars,” a treadmill with a monitor and an old medical-style scale.

The basement also includes a standing desk, a traditional desk, several speakers, lights, a keyboard, sound consoles and a gaming chair. A 3D printer is installed among the equipment, while a separate tools area includes an old radio and space for repairing objects.

Pergolini has been married to Dolores Galán, a psychologist who keeps a low public profile, for 30 years. They have three children: Tomás, who hosts “Esto no sucedió” on the Vorterix streaming channel; Matías, a musician and psychologist; and Valentina, an actress and musical-comedy singer who took part in “Popstars” before leaving the reality show.
