Insurance Industry Award Nominees Unveiled

Oglala Osoka, Chairman of the Panel of Judges for the 2026 Insurance Industry Award, announced the unveiling of nominees, emphasizing a more refined nomination process and stricter adherence to the award's criteria. This year's edition saw a total of 796 valid nominations, a marked contrast to the previous year, which yielded only 183 valid nominations from a total of 914 submissions.

Osoka expressed appreciation for the media and industry stakeholders' support during the nomination exercise, which received submissions from insurance and broking firms, corporate organizations, individual clients, and other stakeholders. The selection process for winners across various categories will involve a weighted combination: 10% public votes, 10% judges' assessment, and a significant 80% from industry data.
