Ha Tinh Provincial Police have successfully cracked a sophisticated criminal ring engaged in the illicit production, possession, and sale of military-grade weapons that operated across multiple provinces. This operation highlights the persistent challenge of illegal arms trafficking within Vietnam and the evolving tactics employed by criminal organizations.

The investigation, spearheaded by the cybercrime unit, uncovered a network that utilized encrypted communication channels on platforms like Telegram and Viber to conceal their activities.
