Interior intelligence chief warns of possible 'more violent hostile actions' on French soil

France must prepare for the possibility of "more violent hostile actions" occurring on its soil, warned Céline Berthon, the director general of internal security (DGSI).

Berthon issued the stark warning during a debate organized by the Medef, the main employers' federation, on Wednesday. Her statement highlighted the evolving nature of threats facing the nation.

As an example of the escalating risks, Berthon pointed to the recent discovery of explosive drones at Leipzig airport in Germany. This incident serves as a concrete illustration of the potential for sophisticated and dangerous attacks.
