IPN Student Recovers Lost Wallet Thanks to Metro Director's Social Media Appeal

An engineering student from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) has successfully recovered his lost wallet, which contained important identification and bank cards. The incident occurred after a soccer match between Mexico and Ecuador, during a special transportation operation at the Tasqueña station.

A conscientious Metro user found the wallet and promptly turned it in to the Metro's general director, Adrián Rubalcava. Rubalcava then initiated a search for the student, Alexis, by posting on social media. The Metro's efforts, combined with the honesty of the user who found the wallet, led to Alexis being notified and able to retrieve his belongings.

Alexis was reunited with his wallet on Thursday at the Juárez station on Line 3. He specifically highlighted the importance of recovering his IPN student ID for various school-related procedures. He extended his thanks to the user who found the wallet and to the Metro director for using social media to facilitate its return.
