Iran: One dead, two injured in attacks in the south

One telecommunications worker died and two colleagues were injured in attacks targeting Iran's southern province of Hormozgan, which borders the Persian Gulf. State media described the incidents as "hostile attacks."

Following the enemy's attack against Farur, in Bandar Lengeh, a worker of the national telecommunications company was killed during the exercise of his duties and two of his colleagues were injured.

The state news agency IRNA reported that a worker was killed and two others wounded while on duty following an attack in Farur, Bandar Lengeh. The Mehr news agency specified that the head of the telecommunications authority in Hormozgan province was killed on Qeshm Island while on a repair mission, with two other staff members injured.

Iranian media also reported further explosions along the country's southern coast near the Strait of Hormuz. Tasnim news agency noted explosions in the port of Bandar Abbas and near Qeshm Island. IRNA stated that military facilities are located in these areas, and consecutive explosions were heard in various parts of Bandar Abbas.

Meanwhile, Kuwait's Ministry of Defense announced that three border posts in the north of the country and an offshore oil platform were attacked, resulting in one injury and material damage. The ministry stated that the platform, belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, was targeted by an enemy drone.
