Iran Parliament Speaker: We Do Not Take US Threats Seriously

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a strong rebuttal to threats made by U.S. President Donald Trump, asserting that Iran does not take the American threats seriously. Ghalibaf emphasized Iran's resolve, stating that the country will not yield to such pressures.

The U.S. President had threatened Iran with a severe strike, similar to one carried out the previous week, if Tehran did not immediately prevent its proxies in Lebanon from causing trouble. Ghalibaf questioned the effectiveness of such threats, suggesting that if they had ever yielded results, the U.S. would not be in its current "helplessness."
