Iran's President: We are ready to end the war... the US must show willingness

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared Iran's readiness to end regional tensions, urging the United States to demonstrate a commitment to peace. Speaking with Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for Qatar's continuous support and constructive efforts in the peace process.

This diplomatic push comes as Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned a recent U.S. airstrike near the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. claimed the strike targeted Iranian vessels and a missile launch facility after Iran allegedly attempted to mine the waterway. Iran's ministry called the U.S. action a betrayal and a violation of promises, stating that Iran would not tolerate any aggression.
