Iran says air defenses engaged US drones after blasts in Bushehr; Konarak naval site hit in airstrikes

Meanwhile, the governor of Konarak, located in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, confirmed that a naval military facility in the city was targeted in two separate waves of fighter jet airstrikes. These confirmations came after initial reports of explosions in multiple southern cities were downplayed by state television.

Iran's state broadcaster had previously rejected claims of explosions in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Sirik, and Jask, stating no such events occurred in those locations. However, this denial did not extend to Bushehr or Konarak, where local officials later acknowledged military activity.
