Iran Warns Gulf Countries Against Assisting U.S. Military

Iran has issued a stern warning to countries in the Persian Gulf, stating that any assistance rendered to the U.S. military will be interpreted as direct participation in American military operations against the Islamic Republic. The declaration was made by General Ali Abdollahi, the chief of Iran's armed forces.

"We want to warn: any assistance or facilitation provided to the aggressive American army is equivalent to participation in American military operations," Abdollahi stated in a communiqué relayed by the Mehr agency. This warning underscores the escalating tensions in the region, particularly following the redeployment of the USS George Washington aircraft carrier to the Middle East.
