Iranian Army: 'Ground combat readiness at highest level... no need for civilian troops'

According to a spokesperson for the Iranian Army, Mohammad Akraminia, the forces are maintaining the highest level of operational preparedness. He emphasized that at this time, there is no necessity to deploy volunteer or civilian forces for combat missions, citing the high morale and national unity within the country. The army believes its regular forces are sufficient to undertake any necessary missions.

Furthermore, Akraminia stated that Iran has fully restored its air defense systems, which were damaged during recent conflicts. The integration of newly deployed anti-aircraft equipment has significantly bolstered the nation's aerial defense capabilities. He specifically claimed that southern Iranian airspace is now a "no-fly zone" for enemy aircraft, with any drones entering the area facing immediate interception.

The spokesperson also alleged that the United States has reduced its drone and aircraft operations in the region, relying more on Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. He further claimed that an Iranian F-5 fighter jet had successfully struck a base in northern Kuwait early in the conflict, causing significant damage to U.S. military helicopters. The army maintains that its readiness and the people's resolve have thwarted attempts by adversaries, including the U.S., to dismantle Iran's nuclear capabilities and overthrow its government.
