Iran's delegation has arrived in Switzerland for crucial peace talks with the United States, the Swiss Foreign Ministry confirmed late Saturday. The delegation includes Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammed-Bagher Ghalibaf, who announced his arrival via X/Twitter.

US Vice President JD Vance landed in Switzerland Sunday morning for the anticipated negotiations, accompanied by US Special Envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff. Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan's Chief of Staff also departed Islamabad to participate in the discussions.

Adding urgency to the schedule, an emergency session addressing the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has been incorporated into the first day of talks. This critical issue will be raised during the initial negotiations between the US and Iran, although neither Israeli nor Hezbollah representatives will be present at the discussions.
