Iranian President to Visit Pakistan on July 23, Discussions Expected on Post-War MOU

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to undertake a state visit to Pakistan on July 23, as announced by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The visit, extended by Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, marks a significant diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring nations.

During his trip, President Pezeshkian will hold separate meetings with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the visit as a crucial opportunity to discuss the progress of diplomatic cooperation since the signing of the "Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU). This agreement, signed on July 17, is seen as a step towards fostering peace between Iran and the United States, and Pezeshkian is expected to engage in discussions regarding the post-signing situation.
