IS Dongseo to supply large waterfront complex 'Pentahills W Square' in Gyeongsan

IS Dongseo is set to launch 'Pentahills W Square,' a large-scale waterfront commercial complex in the Jungansan district of Gyeongsan, South Korea. This follows the successful completion of sales for the adjacent 'Pentahills W 1st Complex' residential development. The new commercial facility is designed to be a vibrant hub, offering a mix of shopping, cultural experiences, and leisure activities.

Developers are actively securing key anchor tenants to draw visitors and extend their stay. Agreements are already in place for a large kids' theme park, 'Bounce Super Park,' a major bookstore chain, 'Jongro Books,' and a Pilates studio. Further plans include attracting a multiplex cinema, a large home goods store, and a supermarket, creating a one-stop destination for entertainment, education, and daily needs.

The 'Pentahills W Square' boasts a unique design capitalizing on its prime location next to Jungansan Lake Park, offering scenic waterfront views. Its street-style layout is intended to enhance visitor flow and encourage longer stays, complemented by generous parking and intuitive navigation. The complex is expected to serve a dual role: a convenient local shopping area for nearby residents on weekdays and a popular destination for visitors to the lake park on weekends.

Spanning approximately 92,000 square meters across five floors (basement to fourth floor), the complex will house 498 units. The model home is located near the Suseong University intersection in Suseong-gu, Daegu, and various promotional events are being held for visitors.
