Fenerbahçe coach İsmail Kartal expressed concern over Marco Asensio's condition after the team's 2-0 victory over Konyaspor. Asensio, who had scored Fenerbahçe's third goal in the 33rd minute, was substituted in the 68th minute. Kartal explained that the Spanish player signaled a minor issue, prompting the substitution to prevent a more significant injury.

"We made eye contact. He signaled to me that he had a minor problem. We took him out due to the risk of injury," Kartal stated after the match. He added that the medical team examined Asensio and will release a statement following an MRI scan scheduled for the next day.
