Israel Border Police rescue fawn illegally held in West Bank

Israeli authorities have rescued a gazelle fawn that was being illegally held in the West Bank village of A-Ram. The operation, conducted on Saturday night, involved a joint effort by the Border Police Coast District Central Unit, Judea and Samaria Border Police fighters, and inspectors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA).

That gazelle was also taken for veterinary examination and was expected to be transferred to a safari in Ramat Gan. The INPA emphasizes the importance of protecting endangered species and prosecuting those who violate wildlife laws.
