Israel Navy officials visit US in celebration of 250 years of American independence

An Israel Navy delegation, headed by Deputy Chief R.-Adm. Guy Levy, traveled to the United States to participate in events commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence. The visit underscored the strong and long-standing partnership between the Israeli and American navies, built on shared values and a mutual commitment to regional maritime security.

During their visit, the Israeli officers, including the Naval Attaché to Washington, met with high-ranking US Navy officials. These included Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl Caudle. The delegation also engaged with leaders from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and other marine corps officials.

These interactions were designed to foster operational dialogue, enhance professional exchanges, and solidify existing partnerships.

The IDF stated that the visit facilitated the advancement of the navies' cadet exchange program and contributed to deepening ties with global naval officials. The military emphasized that the collaboration strengthens cooperation and reinforces the commitment to maintaining maritime security stability in the region.
