Israel Police arrested four settlers on Saturday after they allegedly attacked a CNN news crew in the West Bank village of Sinjil. The settlers reportedly blocked the crew's vehicle, smashed its windshield, and tried to puncture its tires. Soldiers arrived to assist the crew after the incident report.

According to CNN, the settlers were armed with rods, stones, and a knife. Police found a knife and clubs in the suspects' vehicle. The CNN crew was in Sinjil to cover the one-year anniversary of Saif Musallet's death, a Palestinian-American killed by Israeli settlers in July 2025. The victim's family told CNN that no suspects had been arrested in that case.

Separately, US Democratic lawmaker Ro Khanna reported being detained by armed Israeli settlers during a visit to the West Bank. He described the incident as an "unfiltered look at the human toll of Israeli occupation." Khanna said settlers blocked the road and called the IDF, who he claimed sided with the settlers. The IDF stated that soldiers and police intervened to disperse the settlers and free Khanna's entourage.
