Israel announced Saturday it targeted an individual described as a "terrorist" in southern Syria, asserting the person's actions posed an immediate threat to its soldiers. The Israeli military confirmed the strike without specifying the method used.

Syria's Foreign Ministry, however, condemned the action, stating a drone targeted a civilian vehicle on a road near the village of Beit Jinn in rural Damascus. The ministry reported that civilians were injured in the attack, with state television indicating one person was wounded.
