Issyk-Kul District Leases Land for Industrial and Tourism Projects

The state administration of Issyk-Kul district in Kyrgyzstan has announced a tender for the long-term lease of three state-owned land plots, offering them for a period of 49 years. This initiative aims to attract investment for industrial and tourism development in the region.

Two of the plots are earmarked for industrial projects. A one-hectare plot near Kosh-Kol village will be leased for the construction of a concrete and sand-and-gravel production plant, with an annual lease payment of 960,000 soms. Another plot, measuring 0.4 hectares east of Bosteri village, is designated for a reinforced concrete products manufacturing facility, with a starting annual lease price of 384,000 soms.

The third plot, approximately 640 square meters in size, is located south of the Borbor recreation zone in Bosteri and is intended for the development of a tourism facility. The annual lease payment for this plot is set at 835,584 soms. The tender is scheduled to take place on September 9, with applications accepted until September 8. Prospective bidders must submit a guarantee deposit of 10% of the annual lease payment and a preliminary design plan for their proposed facility.
