Istanbul Announces Free Concerts Across Districts for August 30 Victory Day Celebrations

Istanbul is set to host vibrant celebrations for the August 30 Victory Day holiday, featuring a packed schedule of free concerts across the city's various districts. Residents can look forward to performances by a lineup of popular Turkish artists, adding a festive atmosphere to the national commemoration.

In Arnavutköy, singer Oğuzhan Koç will take the stage at Arnavutköy City Park at 8:00 PM. Bahçelievler will host the band PAU at Milli Egemenlik Park at 8:30 PM. The Beykoz coastline will resonate with the music of Bengü starting at 9:00 PM, while Büyükçekmece will feature Melek Mosso at Cumhuriyet Kent Square at 8:00 PM.

Further festivities include a dynamic evening in Çatalca, with a DJ performance by Elif Sarıyar at 8:30 PM followed by İrem Derici at 10:00 PM at Mehmetçik Square Festival Stage. Rock music fans can enjoy Emre Aydın at Osmanlı Park in Eyüpsultan at 8:00 PM. The iconic Yıldız Tilbe is scheduled to perform in Gaziosmanpaşa, and Emre Altuğ will bring nostalgic and entertaining tunes to Kalamış Atatürk Park in Kadıköy at 9:00 PM.

Maltepe's celebrations will commence with a marching band concert and a torchlight Victory Day procession starting at 8:00 PM from the Maltepe Municipality, culminating in a concert by Selçuk Balcı at Cumhuriyet Square at 9:30 PM. Additionally, Müzegazhane will host performances by Redd and Yeni Türkü, promising a rich cultural and artistic experience for all attendees.
