Istanbul's 15 Temmuz Şehitler Bridge to close for 3 nights for filming

Istanbul's iconic 15 Temmuz Şehitler Bridge will experience temporary traffic closures over three consecutive nights as it hosts filming for a documentary series. The Istanbul Governorship announced the measure, which will affect traffic heading from the Anatolian side towards the European side of the city.

The bridge was closed for filming starting this past night for a project titled "Asırlık Gece" (Centennial Night). Police directed drivers to alternative routes during the closure period. The specific timing of the closures is set to facilitate the safe execution of the filming operations.

According to the Governorship's statement, the bridge will be inaccessible to vehicles between 01:00 and 05:00 AM on August 3, 4, and 5. This schedule is designed to minimize disruption during nighttime hours while ensuring the necessary conditions for the production crew.

Authorities are urging drivers to take note of these dates and times when planning their journeys to avoid inconvenience. The temporary closure is a necessary step to accommodate the filming of the documentary series on this significant Istanbul landmark.
