Italians voted most attractive in European survey, with Balkan nations sharing a common choice

A recent survey has revealed fascinating insights into European perceptions of attractiveness, with Italians emerging as the most frequently chosen as the most attractive people across the continent. The survey, which involved 35,000 participants from 28 countries, asked respondents to name the nation with the most attractive individuals.

The results, published on Facebook and attributed to a 2024 European Survey by the polling agency OpinionWay, showed a clear preference for Italians in many regions. Notably, people from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Slovenia all shared the same top choice: Italy.

However, preferences were not uniform across Europe. Western European respondents displayed different tastes, with Spain being the top choice for participants from France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Greece. This indicates that perceptions of attractiveness vary significantly by region and individual perspective.

Further highlighting the diversity of opinions, Spain and Portugal stood out as they did not vote for any European nation. Spaniards identified Argentinians as the most attractive, while Portuguese respondents favored Brazilians. In a unique display of national pride, Swedes overwhelmingly voted for their own countrymen as the most attractive.

The survey, which was reported by Telegraf.rs, suggests that while broad trends exist, personal and regional preferences play a significant role in shaping views on attractiveness across Europe.
