Jack Neo announces open casting call for new Ah Boys To Firemen film

Aspiring actors have a chance to star in Jack Neo's next film, "Ah Boys To Firemen," with an open casting call announced by J Team Productions. This upcoming movie is the latest in the popular "Ah Boys To Men" franchise, which has achieved significant box office success since its debut in 2012.

You have been hiding your occupation from your mum. Today, she found out and confronted you.

The production is seeking both female and male actors in their twenties and thirties, of any race, for main and supporting roles. Applicants must submit a video, between 30 seconds and one minute long, performing one of four provided scenes. The audition can be performed in either English or Mandarin.

You saw your girlfriend/boyfriend with another person, cheating on you, and you went up to confront them.

To apply, candidates need to upload their audition clip to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, tagging @jteamsg and @mm2singapore, and using the hashtags #AhBoysToFiremen and #ABTF2027. No prior acting experience is necessary, and selected applicants will be invited for a second audition round. The submission deadline is June 28 at 11:59 p.m.

The "Ah Boys To Men" franchise, which began with the 2012 film starring Joshua Tan, Maxi Lim, Noah Yap, and Wang Weiliang, follows young Singaporean men navigating National Service. The first film grossed over S$6 million and led to several sequels and spin-offs, including "Ah Girls Go Army Again" in 2022.
