Jamaican Footballer Lloyd Barker to Join CF Montreal Wall of Fame

Jamaican football legend Lloyd Barker is to be inducted into the Wall of Fame of Canadian club CF Montreal this Saturday. Barker, who previously played for Harbour View FC in Jamaica, will be recognized for his significant contributions to the club, which was formerly known as the Montreal Impact.

The induction ceremony will take place during the halftime break of CF Montreal's match against the LA Galaxy. Barker is one of five former Montreal Impact players who will be added to the Wall of Fame.

During his tenure with the Montreal Impact, Barker played a key role in the team's success, helping them secure two championship titles in 1994 and 2004. He was also part of the squad that achieved three consecutive regular season titles from 1995 to 1997. Barker was a prominent member of what is considered Harbour View's best-ever team in 1995 and 1996, playing alongside notable Jamaican talents such as Altimont Butler, Walter Boyd, Onandi Lowe, Ricardo Gardner, Milton Griffiths, Anthony McCreath, Andrew Hines, and Robert Hall.
