Korean broadcaster Jang Yoon-jeong has offered a glimpse into her family life as she prepares her second daughter for university studies in the United Kingdom. The vlog revealed that Jang's daughter has been accepted into a design university in London. Recognizing that her daughter will need to manage her own meals while studying abroad, Jang decided to teach her two fundamental Korean dishes: seaweed soup (miyeokguk) and steamed eggs (gyeran jjim). She recalled that her elder daughter had expressed a craving for steamed eggs when she first went abroad, highlighting the importance of home-cooked meals for those living away from home.

Following a trip to the grocery store, Jang and her daughter prepared the dishes together in their kitchen.
