Jay-Z lights up New York with Rihanna and Eminem for 'Reasonable Doubt' anniversary shows

Rapper Jay-Z marked the 30th anniversary of his debut album "Reasonable Doubt" with a spectacular three-night concert series at New York's Yankee Stadium from July 10-12. The shows, organized by his label Roc Nation, drew tens of thousands of fans and featured a star-studded lineup of guests celebrating his career.

Among the notable performers were his wife, Beyoncé, who opened the first night by performing a verse from "Can't Knock the Hustle." The second night saw Eminem join Jay-Z for their collaboration "Renegade" before performing his own hit "Lose Yourself." This marked Eminem's first significant appearance since the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.

The final night, however, was electrified by the surprise appearance of Rihanna. Dressed in a black leather and fur ensemble, she joined Jay-Z to perform their hit song "Run This Town." Rihanna, who has largely stayed out of the music spotlight in recent years, with her last album "Anti" released in 2016, has kept fans hoping for a return with rare public appearances, often tied to her Fenty Beauty brand. Her performance at Yankee Stadium has once again fueled speculation about a musical comeback.

The concerts also served as a tribute to the roots of hip-hop and the East Coast rap scene of the 1990s. Many artists from that era, including Nas, were featured, highlighting the enduring legacy of influential albums from New York rappers like Jay-Z and The Notorious B.I.G.
