Jeddeloh II Claims Niedersachsen Cup, Secures DFB-Pokal Berth

The football club SSV Jeddeloh II has clinched the Niedersachsen-Cup title, earning a coveted spot in the prestigious DFB-Pokal for the upcoming season. The Regionalliga team achieved this victory by defeating SV Drochtersen/Assel with a decisive 3-0 scoreline in the final match held in Barsinghausen.

Dominique Ndure opened the scoring for Jeddeloh II in the 6th minute, setting a strong tone for the match. Pascal Steinwender later extended their lead, scoring in the 79th minute and adding a final goal in stoppage time (90+4). These goals secured the win for the club from the Ammerland district near Oldenburg.

This triumph marks SSV Jeddeloh II's second participation in the DFB-Pokal. Their previous appearance was in 2018, where they faced 1. FC Heidenheim in the first round, ultimately losing 2-5. The Niedersachsen-Cup is one of two separate cup competitions organized by the Lower Saxony Football Association (NFV) to determine representation in the DFB-Pokal, reflecting the region's size and the number of participating teams across different leagues.
