K-pop sensation Jennie has wrapped up a significant year of international festival performances, most recently headlining Japan's Summer Sonic festival. The BLACKPINK member and global pop star delivered headline sets at both the Tokyo and Osaka legs of the festival, held on August 14th and 16th respectively.

At the 25th anniversary of Summer Sonic, Jennie shared the stage with international music heavyweights such as The Strokes, Jamiroquai, and L’Arc-en-Ciel. In Tokyo, she closed the 'MOUNTAIN' stage, performing hits like 'Mantra' and 'like JENNIE,' alongside unreleased new material.

Jennie's festival appearances have garnered considerable attention, with videos of her Summer Sonic performance circulating online. This year marks her participation as a headliner in seven major global music festivals. Her journey began at The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York, followed by Roskilde in Denmark, Open'er in Poland, Mad Cool in Spain, Lollapalooza Chicago in the United States, and culminating in Japan.

Beyond her live performances, Jennie's music continues to perform well on charts. Her single released last month, 'Less than a Lover,' has reached high positions on major domestic and international charts. Furthermore, her collaboration with Tame Impala, 'Dracula,' has remained in the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks and has held the number one spot on the U.S. Mediabase Hot AC Radio chart for five consecutive weeks.

To commemorate her Summer Sonic performance, a pop-up store titled 'JENNIE SUMMER' is running until August 18th at the Tsutaya Bookstore in Daikanyama, Tokyo.
