Meanwhile, fellow South Korean Kim Sei-young finished in fifth place with a total score of 5-under-par 279. Despite a strong start, Kim struggled in the final round, carding a 1-over-par 72. Her performance prevented her from achieving her 14th career LPGA Tour win and her second major title, having last won a major five years and eight months prior.
