Jeong Cheong-rae outlines 'simple' choices for party convention: reform, unity

Jeong Cheong-rae, a candidate for the leadership of South Korea's Democratic Party, has framed the upcoming August 17th party convention around three core issues: prosecutorial reform, the "one person, one vote" system, and party unity. He presented these as simple, yet critical, choices facing the party.

During a recent meeting with Seoul City Council members, Jeong reiterated his commitment to reform, stating, "Reform is the identity of the Democratic Party." He stressed that continuous effort is necessary to maintain the party's direction and momentum, drawing parallels to the constant motion required to keep a bicycle upright.
