Jigawa gov swears in six new aides, urges teamwork

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has appointed six new aides, stressing the importance of teamwork and upholding their oaths of office to drive the state's development. The swearing-in ceremony, administered by the state's Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice Abdulkadir Fanini, took place at the Government House in Dutse.

Governor Namadi explained that the appointments were designed to bolster government operations and were based on merit and the appointees' connection to the grassroots. "The appointees are of the grassroots and have been appointed on merit," he stated, reminding them of the responsibilities that come with public office. He urged them to collaborate effectively to achieve better results that would benefit the people of Jigawa.

The newly appointed aides include Muftahu Majia (Technical Adviser on Higher Education), Salma Wakili (Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship), Adamu Garkuwa (Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs), Mubarak Aliyu (Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs), Musbahu Kaugama (Special Adviser on Special Investment), and Bala Sule (Special Adviser on Non-Governmental Organisations).
