Jigawa sets final Hajj fare and payment deadline

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the final fare for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage, setting it at N7,672,822. Intending pilgrims who have already paid an initial deposit of N7,500,000 are now required to pay the outstanding balance of N172,822 to finalize their registration.

The board has instructed all pilgrims to settle their balances by September 18. Director-General Ahmad Umar Labbo emphasized the importance of meeting this deadline to ensure a smooth operational rollout for the pilgrimage. The scheduled departure date for pilgrims is September 26.

Umar Labbo called upon Zonal Officers across the state to ramp up sensitization efforts, ensuring that pilgrims complete all necessary documentation well in advance of the departure date. He stressed the need for strict compliance with the September 18 payment deadline.
