In Moreno, Argentina, a dense fog and biting cold did little to deter hundreds of job seekers who lined up for hours on Monday, hoping for a chance at employment. The scene unfolded outside the Cabaña Don Theo facility, where a long, slow-moving queue snaked around the premises. Many arrived before dawn, clutching resumes and seeking any available position, from administrative roles to production and customer service.

Young people looking for their first jobs stood alongside individuals unemployed for months and older workers returning to the job market after years of formal employment. Conversations among those waiting offered a brief respite from the cold, while others stood in silence, their gazes fixed on the temporary tents set up near the entrance.

Several companies, including Cabaña Don Theo, Avícola Lanús, and Grupo Pájaro S.A., were present to accept applications. The local municipality also had a presence, collecting resumes for various employment programs within the district. As the day progressed, more businesses joined the recruitment drive, including Granja La Familia and a lumber company, further expanding the range of available positions.

Jonathan, a representative from Avícola Lanús, expressed the importance of participating in such an event. "The people from Cabaña Don Theo are friends, besides trading together, we have many years of friendship," he said. "Given the call for something as important as offering work, the least we could do was be present here today."
