John Cusack has revealed the reasons behind his withdrawal from Hollywood's blockbuster scene, emphasizing a strong desire for creative control. The 60-year-old actor explained that he moved away from major studio films to pursue independent projects where he could maintain full artistic freedom.

Cusack's latest venture is the graphic novel "Momo," set for release on September 29. He described the graphic novel format as being very close to filmmaking, allowing for deliberate control over visuals and narrative. He collaborated with illustrator Ignacio Noe on the project, emphasizing that it was a direct creation between the two of them, free from studio interference or audience testing.
