Hu Chin-hao, a 198cm tall player from the National Taiwan University of Sport, has opted to remain in the University Basketball Association (UBA) for another year rather than enter the professional draft. This decision comes as he seeks to transition his game and broaden his skillset.

Selected for the Taiwan White team in the Jones Cup for the second time, Hu showcased his potential with a double-double performance, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a recent game against Jordan. He expressed his desire to develop his abilities in the 3 and 4 positions, believing this will give him a better chance in the professional league. Hu's coach, Chen Tzu-wei, has been instrumental in his development, providing guidance on shooting mechanics and footwork. Hu has also been working with a personal trainer to improve his face-up game and dribble-to-shoot actions.
