Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro: When will registrations open? How to register

Mexico's "Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro" (Youth Building the Future) program is set to open its next registration period in August 2026, offering opportunities for young individuals aged 18 to 29. This federal initiative aims to integrate young people who are neither studying nor employed into the workforce by providing them with training at various economic units.

Participants in the program receive a monthly economic support equivalent to the minimum wage, which currently stands at 9,582.47 pesos. Additionally, they gain access to medical insurance through the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) for up to 12 months. Payments for this support are disbursed via Banco del Bienestar cards.

The upcoming phase for linking apprentices with training centers is scheduled to begin in early August. While the official application period for training centers opens that month, interested individuals are advised to pre-register on the program's platform to streamline the process for this year's subsequent bimonthly calls. Key requirements include being between 18 and 29 years old, not currently studying or employed, and providing necessary documentation such as CURP, a valid official ID, proof of address, and a recent photograph.
