Jubilation erupts at APC headquarters over Tinubu’s early lead

Supporters of President Bola Tinubu, under the banner of the PBAT Door-2-Door Movement and reportedly sent by former Niger Delta militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, gathered at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja. They celebrated what they described as Tinubu's early dominance in the party's ongoing presidential primaries.

Today, our grand Patron, Tompolo, has sent us here to felicitate with President Bola Tinubu over his early lead, and by the grace of God, his victory, at the ongoing Presidential Primaries of the All Progressive Congress.

The jubilant supporters arrived in large numbers, expressing their confidence in Tinubu's eventual victory through chants, music, and solidarity displays. The group's National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, addressed journalists, stating that their delegation was sent by Tompolo to felicitate Tinubu on the emerging results from various wards across the country.

We have come out en masse. You can see the mammoth crowd. It is organic. They have come out in their hundreds to say yes.

Asuku declared the group's unwavering support for Tinubu's re-election in 2027, asserting that "everybody from the South, West, East, and North will come out massively." He characterized a vote for Tinubu as a vote for Nigeria's future and a greater nation. He appealed to Nigerians not to be embittered by current challenges, emphasizing that decades of decadence cannot be rectified in just four years.

We are supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election. In 2027, everybody from the South, West, East, and North will come out massively. A vote for President Tinubu is a vote for our future and a greater Nigeria.

The coordinator urged that President Tinubu be given more time to consolidate the foundation he has built, describing him as the "reformer-in-chief." He further stated that anyone not supporting Tinubu is an "enemy of Nigeria." Asuku praised Tinubu as a leader steering the country in the right direction, despite prevailing economic and security issues, assuring that "there will surely be light at the end of the tunnel" and that Nigeria is "in safe hands."

I want to appeal to Nigerians that we should not be embittered about whatever is happening in the country today. The decadence of so many decades cannot be fixed in just four years.
