Jubo Dal Leader Hacked to Death in Jashore

Rubel Hossain, 38, a joint general secretary of the Bandabila union unit Jubo Dal in Bagharpara upazila, Jashore, was killed in a brutal daylight attack on Monday. The incident took place around 11:30 am near the Khajura Filling Station.

According to local sources and police, Hossain was attacked by an individual identified as Rabbi, who repeatedly struck him with a sharp weapon before fleeing the scene. Locals rescued Hossain and transported him to Jashore General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physician. His body was subsequently sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Jashore district Jubo Dal President M Tamal Hossain demanded a thorough investigation and exemplary punishment for those responsible for the killing. Bagharpara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shah Jalal Alam confirmed that police visited the crime scene. An investigation is ongoing to determine the motive behind the murder, and multiple police teams are actively searching for the primary suspect, Rabbi.
