June Co-responsibility and Training Bonus payments begin in Venezuela

The Venezuelan government has initiated the distribution of the June Bono de Corresponsabilidad y Formación, a financial benefit aimed at active teaching personnel within the Ministry of Popular Power for Education. Payments are being processed through the official Patria platform, a digital system used for various social programs and government disbursements.

Beneficiaries are notified via text message or through the veMonedero application. Upon receiving the alert, they can access their Patria accounts to accept the bonus, which is then credited to their digital wallet. From the Patria platform, recipients have the flexibility to transfer the funds to their bank accounts or use them for purchases at participating businesses via biometric payment (biopago).

This month's bonus payment amounts to 27,500 bolivars, which, at the current exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), is equivalent to approximately $48.44 USD. The amount reflects a notable increase of 12.93% in bolivars compared to the May payment, when recipients received 24,350 bolivars. The bonus is specifically for those participating in the National Training Program of the National Experimental University of Teaching (UNEM).
