Jung Hoo Lee Goes 1-for-4 with 2 RBIs Against Mets as Giants Lose 4-2

Jung Hoo Lee delivered a two-run single to help the San Francisco Giants take an early lead against the New York Mets, but the Giants ultimately lost 4-2 at Citi Field.

Lee started as San Francisco's No. 5 hitter and right fielder on the 7th, Korea time. With the game scoreless and two outs in the fourth inning, he drove in two runs with a first-pitch single to right off Mets starter Christian Scott. The hit gave him 53 RBIs for the season, while his batting average remained .280, at 139 hits in 496 at-bats.

Lee also made a strong defensive play in the eighth inning, catching a ball hit by Francisco Lindor with one out and a runner on second. He was retired on a flyout in the second, had another potential hit caught by right fielder Carson Benge in the sixth, and lined out to the third baseman in the ninth.

San Francisco led 2-1 in the eighth before Bo Bichette hit a three-run homer with two outs and runners on first and third, completing the Mets' comeback.
