K-Drama 'Resonance Cell' Tops Charts with Fast-Paced Romance and Surprise Kiss

The fantasy K-drama "Resonance Cell" is making waves in Taiwan, quickly climbing to the top of the Korean drama charts on the MyVideo platform following its July release. The series has captivated audiences with its accelerated romantic storyline, particularly a "forbidden kiss" that occurs in the first episode.

In a surprising turn of events, the female lead, Kang Min-ah, faints due to a panic attack in the counselor's office during a power outage, falling into the arms of the male lead, Kim Myung-soo. This unexpected moment leads to their first kiss, a development that has viewers buzzing online about the drama's rapid pace.

Kim Myung-soo portrays a "hyper-sensitive F-type" psychologist who absorbs others' excessive emotions. Ironically, during a press conference, he revealed his real-life personality is far more logical, describing himself as having a "super thick rational line and over 90% T-value." He admitted struggling to understand his character initially, engaging in extensive discussions with the director and dedicating significant time to script study to embody the role.
