Kılıçdaroğlu Administration Initiates New Expulsion Drive: Mayors and MPs to be Discussed

The leadership of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu within the Republican People's Party (CHP) has initiated a significant move, seeking the expulsion of nine party members of parliament. This action follows a decision by the Central Executive Committee (MYK) to demand their removal from the party.

These nine MPs, whose names include Ensar Aytekin, Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, Nurhayat Altaca Kayışoğlu, Özgür Karabat, Umut Akdoğan, Veli Ağbaba, Turan Taşkın Özer, and Burhanettin Bulut, have been referred to the High Disciplinary Board. Their cases are scheduled for review tomorrow, bypassing the usual process involving the Party Assembly.

Adding to the internal party turmoil, reports indicate that the upcoming High Disciplinary Board meeting will also address the potential expulsion of several mayors and other parliamentary members. This wave of disciplinary actions signals a period of intense internal restructuring and potential division within the CHP under Kılıçdaroğlu's direction.
