Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, recently appointed as the leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP) by court decision, has outlined his party's new political direction. Kılıçdaroğlu stated that the CHP's primary focus will now be on challenging the current government.

"From now on, our target is the government. We will not oppose the opposition," Kılıçdaroğlu declared during a meeting with his supporting lawmakers. He stressed that the party would concentrate on its criticisms of the ruling administration and would avoid making negative remarks about individuals who have departed from the party.

This stance comes after Özgür Özel announced the formation of a new party, a move that led to the first resignation from the CHP with MP Murat Bakan stepping down.

The CHP's Central Management Body (MYK) is scheduled to convene, with party spokesperson Müslim Sarı expected to make a statement following the meeting. The party's shift in strategy signals a move away from internal party disputes and towards a more direct confrontation with the ruling powers.
