K League's Daejeon FC Unveils New ACLE Uniforms for 2026-27 Season

Daejeon Hana Citizen has officially revealed its new kit designs for the upcoming 2026-27 AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE) season. The club's latest apparel features a striking 'lightning' motif across the front, intended to represent the team's dynamic energy and its aspirations to make a significant impact on the Asian stage.

The home jersey sports a vibrant green base, intricately combined with the lightning graphics. In contrast, the away jersey adopts a sophisticated light gray color, aiming for a sleek and modern aesthetic. Goalkeepers will have a choice between pink and black options for their kits. A notable detail across all player jerseys is the inclusion of the Taegukgi, the South Korean flag, positioned on the upper back, underscoring the team's role as representatives of their nation in continental tournaments.

Beyond aesthetics, the new uniforms are engineered for enhanced performance. They utilize cool-mesh fabric, designed to improve breathability and freedom of movement for the players. The front graphics are applied using a sublimation printing technique, which ensures that the fabric's functional properties are maintained while achieving a high-quality finish for the design.

This unveiling holds particular significance as it marks Daejeon's inaugural participation in the ACLE since its acquisition by Hana Financial Group. The club is set to compete against formidable opponents from Japan and China, including Kashima Antlers, Vissel Kobe, Beijing Guoan, and Shanghai Port.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the new kits starting September 1 at 11 a.m. through the Daejeon online store, with field home and away jerseys available. Offline sales, including both field and goalkeeper kits, will commence on September 12 during the K League 1 home match against Pohang Steelers.
